The perfect best friends trip from Marraksh could be the Agafay desert !
Agafay desert is only 30 min away from Marrakech. the closest mini desert to Marrakech for those who are not able to travel long way to Erg Chebbi in Merzouga or Erg Chegaga in Zagora, or also Laayoune and Dakhla desert surf destination in the south of Morocco.
With a buggy or 4Wd, you can drive through the Agafay desert and enjoy the endless expanses of sand offering the a wonderful view of the Atlas Mountains. Indulge yourself in the surprising rocky dunes. Get off the beaten track and experience nights beneath the stars or in a camp (bivouac).
There you can find a small splendid oasis in the middle of the desert. Being a small treasure nestled at the bottom of the desert, you’ll be amazed : plants, turtles, frogs… A break from the hustle and bustle of big cities is well deserved after a long journey !
