Ferrari filmed its Roma Spider promo video in Rabat Morocco
Italian luxury car brand Ferrari has chosen the Moroccan capital Rabat to promote its new jewel: the Ferrari Spider Roma.
The Italian brand shared the video, which lasts just over two minutes, on its Twitter account this Saturday. A video that has been widely shared by Moroccan tweeters.
“They say that opposites attract and that it is not only the destination that matters: it is the journey. Embrace the lure of the #FerrariRomaSpider as #LaNuovaDolceVita unfolds in Morocco,” Ferrari comments the post.
The video captured some of the breathtaking landscapes in Rabat including the exquisite Atlantic coastal road, one of the numerous minarets along the coast, and two gates marked with signature Moroccan carvings.
Ferrari’s promo video features a blend of Rabat’s most iconic historical sites fused with some of its most modern infrastructure, highlighting the city’s unique position as an African cultural capital.
During the Cavalcade 2023, a prestigious automotive event which took place last March, the Roma Spider had already been unveiled for the very first time in Marrakech, we recall.
More than eighty Ferraris made up the long procession of the Cavalcade which recently traveled Morocco over a thousand kilometres, according to Ferrari. Le Cheval Prancing chose Marrakech, the desert roads of Agafay and the Atlantic coasts for the annual event which brought together collectors and customers from all over the world.
Among the landscapes explored are the earth and mud-brick village of Ait Benhaddou, listed as a UNESCO heritage site, and the white city Essaouira which overlooks the ocean, indicates the Italian brand on its official portal, also evoking the mountains of Haut Atlas and the Amazigh village Telouet, located along the salt road.
